EMDR
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

EMDR combines bilateral stimulation (tapping or eye movements, usually) and cognitive processing to relieve distress and form new, adaptive pathways in the brain.

Extended Sessions and Intensives
Although 50 minute sessions are the industry standard, they aren't a great fit for everyone.
I offer 120+ minute EMDR and relational sessions for those who need more time to settle in or want to do a deeper dive. Reach out to see if this option might be a fit for you.
“I am committed to practicing therapy that is anti-racist, LGBTQ+ and gender affirming, pro-disability justice, neurodiversity affirming, body neutral, sex positive, kink positive, and spiritually open.”
I bring warmth, empathy, a good sense of humor, and a strengths based perspective to the therapy room. I use a trauma informed approach and work collaboratively with my clients to create a treatment plan and relationship where lasting change can occur. I enjoy working with folks who are ready to commit to the process of therapy and experience more fulfilling lives and relationships.
Our lives are shaped by our intersecting identities and the systems of power and oppression we navigate every day. I care deeply about creating a space where you feel respected, valued, and supported as your full self. I am committed to practicing therapy that is anti-racist, LGBTQ+ and gender affirming, pro-disability justice, neurodiversity affirming, body neutral, sex positive, kink positive, and spiritually open.
One thing I believe we all have in common (myself included) is the search for meaning and a sense of belonging. No matter what your identities and your reasons for seeking therapy, I hope to always meet you where you’re at and make this process as supportive and caring as I can. I see therapy as a place for both bravery and safety. There are times when you will be asked to step outside your comfort zones, be more vulnerable, and challenge your own beliefs. There are times when you might also experience profound healing, safety, and connection.
